Neds International is a licensed bookmaking
company that has developed its market-leading
Betting Platform for both mobile and desktop.
Neds International is the holding company
that wholly owns Neds.com.au Pty Ltd which
operates in the Australian wagering market.
The platform was designed to enable quick
deployment into other international territories
and jurisdictions.

Launched in October 2017 at the start of
the Australian Spring Racing Carnival, Neds
exceeded expectations by acquiring over 70,000
clients in the first three months of operation
and taking total bets of over $233 Million dollars
during that time.

This success was driven in part by an aggressive
and well-executed marketing campaign, but was
underpinned by the superior user experience and
robust technology platform.

The Australian wagering market is one of the
worlds most competitive and as such wagering
consumers are mature and discerning. Neds
launched with a superior user interface (UI) to
generate the best user experience (UX).

The platform was written in GOLANG, the
language Google created to power its high-speed
search engine. This modern and highly efficient
programming language, focusing on speed, has
enabled Neds to design a highly agile and reliable
betting platform.

Having its own platform and in-house
development team means Neds has the agility to
deploy innovative products and features and be
reactive to changing market conditions.

Chairman, Dean Shannon, the key executives

In July 2013, Dean Shannon sold Bookmaker.
com.au to Ladbrokes PLC and as CEO went on
to launch Ladbrokes.com.au in Australia. With
his team in tow they captured 12% market share
of online wagering turnover; an impressive feat
given how highly competitive this category is in
Australia.

Most recently Dean Shannon and his executives
followed this up by successfully launching Neds
in Australia. Neds recently won “Marketing
Campaign of the Year” and “Rising Star” at the
2018 EGR Australia Awards.
